Challenge Course Manager Certifications
Challenge Course Manager (CCM) Full Certification
- Requirements:
- Training Hours: 110 hours (minimum) documented(30 hours minimum documented [14 management +16 challenge course management] + 80 hours training required for Level II)
- Delivered hours: 500 hours including facilitation and management
- Portfolio: Electronic submission 3 weeks prior to CertificationTesting (certification certificate/cards will not be granted until portfolio has been fully received and review completed)
- Scope of Work: Will be able to supervise all aspects of the challenge course including development of policies and procedures
- Ability to train others: Capable of developing plan for mentoring and in service training of local operating procedures (LOPs) and some skills
- Rescues: Execute rescues and direct other staff
- Leading edge climbing: Will be able to climb except for Spotted Activities Only level and those systems that do not require leading edge climbing
- Duration of certification: 5 years
- Recertification: 300 hours experience plus 30 hours of additional training plus retest or 30 hours CCM training and retest
- Challenge In: Portfolio of at least 600 documented hours of program experience and 30 hours of management training, plus test

- Requirements:
- Training Hours: 30 hours (minimum) documented management (16 challenge course management) + 44 hours training required for Level II, total training hours - 74
- Delivered hours: 500 hours including facilitation and management
- Portfolio: Electronic submission 3 weeks prior to CertificationTesting (certification certificate/cards will not be granted until portfolio has been fully received and review completed)
- Scope of Work: Will be able to supervise all aspects of the challenge course including development of policies and procedures
- Ability to train others: Capable of developing plan for mentoring and in service training of local operating procedures (LOPs) and some skills

- Portfolio: Electronic submission 3 weeks prior to CertificationTesting (certification certificate/cards will not be granted until portfolio has been fully received and review completed)
- Scope of Work: Will be able to supervise all aspects of the challenge course including development of policies and procedures
- Ability to train others: Capable of developing plan for mentoring and in service training of local operating procedures (LOPs) and some skills
