Level II Practitioner Certification
Level II Full Certification (High & Low; Static & Dynamic)
- Requirements:
- Training Hours: 80 hours (minimum) documented(40 hours level I + 40 hours Level II)
- Delivered hours: 200 hours
- Portfolio: Electronic submission 3 weeks prior to CertificationTesting (certification certificate/cards will not be granted until portfolio has been fully received and review completed)
- Scope of Work: Within the limits of training or under the supervision of senior Level 2 or CCM
- Ability to train others: certification does not qualify or determine applicant's ability to train.
- Rescues: Execute rescues and direct other staff
- Leading edge climbing: Will be able to climb except for Spotted Activities Only level and those systems that do not require leading edge climbing
- Duration of certification: 3 years
- Recertification: 150 hours experience plus 24 hours training plus retest or 40 additional hours of training plus retest
- Challenge In: Portfolio of at least 400 documented hours of program experience and 80 hours of training, plus test
- Required Documentation: Challenge Course Practitioner Portfolio submitted two weeks prior to certification test

Level II Spotted Activities Only (Low Spotted Only)
- Requirements:
- Training Hours: 44 hours minimum (20 hours level I + 24 hours Level II)
- Delivered hours: 200 hours
- Portfolio: Electronic submission 3 weeks prior to CertificationTesting (certification certificate/cards will not be granted until portfolio has been fully received and review completed)
- Scope of Work: Within the limits of training or under the supervision of senior Level 2 or CCM
- Ability to train others: certification does not qualify or determine applicant's ability to train.
- Rescues: NOT REQUIRED
- Leading edge climbing: Not Required
- Duration of certification: 3 years
- Recertification: 150 hours experience plus 24 hours training plus retest or 40 additional hours of training plus retest
- Challenge In: Portfolio of at least 400 documented hours of program experience and 80 hours of training, plus test
- Required Documentation: Challenge Course Practitioner Portfolio submitted two weeks prior to certification test
Level II High Activities Only

- Scope of Work: Within the limits of training or under the supervision of senior Level 2 or CCM

- Leading edge climbing: Will be able to climb except for spotted only activities level and those systems that do not require leading edge climbing
- Duration of certification: 3 years

Level II System Specific (Alpine Tower II)
- Requirements:
- Training Hours: 48 hours minimum (24 hours level I + 24 hours Level II)
- Delivered hours: 200 hours
- Portfolio: Electronic submission 3 weeks prior to CertificationTesting (certification certificate/cards will not be granted until portfolio has been fully received and review completed)
- Scope of Work: Within the limits of training or under the supervision of senior Level 2 or CCM
- Ability to train others: This certification does not qualify or determine applicant's ability to train.
